How online mentors might benefit new teachers

New teachers seeking mentors are finding online support through several programs, including the New Teacher Center's e-Mentoring for Student Success. The yearlong program pairs experienced math, science and special-education teachers with new teachers. Supporters of online mentoring says the arrangement allows for more flexibility and the ability to meet when it is most convenient.
