NYC mayor aims to extend grading system to street food

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Monday that the city's restaurant letter-grade inspection system has proved so successful that it should be extended to hot dog sellers, pretzel vendors and other street-food carts. The city's health commissioner says the idea is good in theory, but the realities of tracking down every mobile food vendor for inspections and enforcement could be impossible.
