TSA aims to make airport security less time consuming, intrusive

The Transportation Security Administration is working to make getting through airport security a less-intrusive and faster process, at least for some passengers. Trusted travelers will be able to quickly move through security checkpoints at certain airports without taking out their laptops or removing their shoes. "The gradual steps we will take in the coming months and years will strengthen security, while allowing TSA to focus its resources on travelers that we know less about," said Sari Koshetz, a spokeswoman for the TSA.
