Google Wallet overhaul lets in any credit card

Google has expanded its Wallet mobile-payment system to accept any credit or debit card, the company disclosed Wednesday. Originally, Google served only those with Citibank-backed MasterCards who used select Sprint Nextel phones. Competition and technical issues have limited Google Wallet's adoption, even though it was one of the first mobile-payments platforms in the market.
