53% of retailers expect mobile to play a big part during the holidays

More than half of retailers expect mobile shopping to have a significant role in their holiday sales this year, according to a new study. Of the 77 retailers surveyed, 81% said they plan to upgrade their e-commerce platforms before the mobile holiday rush, and many said they expect the jump in mobile sales to boost in-store sales, as well, the study reported.
