Adobe buys Satellite to manage universe of marketing analytics

Adobe has purchased tag-management specialist Satellite to integrate its technology that lets marketers analyze and track media across websites. Tag management will allow Adobe to help customers develop code that works with a variety of analytics and ad services used by different websites, creating an Adobe-branded end-to-end service. The move also highlights Adobe's marketing entrenchment against Google, which launched a tag-management service last year.
