Google addresses the need to react to real-time Analytics flow

Google is inviting a select group of developers to beta test a real-time application programming interface for Analytics. The program has been offering real-time information to developers for two years now, but acting on that stream of data is difficult. The API will allow developers to construct a site-visitor or other key-performance indicator counter, for example, and respond accordingly, Frederic Lardinois writes.
