Hercules Offshore CEO says Gulf well blowout won't affect growth

Hercules Offshore remains confident of its growth prospects despite the challenges that will be created after a natural gas well blowout and a rig fire in the Gulf of Mexico involving the company, President and CEO John Rynd said. The incident didn't cause any major damage to the environment or casualties and is considered under control. "Our culture of safety, which emphasizes crisis training and management, helped prepare us to respond to the incident in an effective and efficient manner," he said.
