Hot flash relief not among exercise's benefits, study finds

Participation in an aerobic exercise program for 12 weeks had no substantial impact on the incidence of hot flashes in nearly menopausal or postmenopausal women, according to a study in the journal Menopause. However, researchers found some improvements related to depression, insomnia and sleep. The study included 248 women in exercise and control groups.
