IATA plan would allow consumers to buy airfares in "real time"

The International Air Transport Association has proposed an updated method to sell airfares called the New Distribution Capability. The method would offer "real-time" sales of airfares. "Consumers would benefit from it," says Perry Flint, an IATA spokesman.
