Indian commodity bourse halts trading

India's National Spot Exchange, a commodity exchange owned by Financial Technologies, has suspended trading amid falling volume and a government investigation. Financial Technologies' shares plunged 64.5%, while shares in Multi Commodity Exchange of India declined 20%. Financial Technologies has a 26% stake in MCX, the country's largest commodity-futures exchange.
