InSightec's tumor ablation device wins approval in China

InSightec has received the go-ahead in China to market its ExAblate system for use in treating patients with uterine fibroids. The device, which uses MRI-guided focused ultrasound to allow for incision-free tumor ablation, already has been approved in the U.S. for treating patients with bone tumors.
