Low access to produce fuels plan for mobile grocer

Mobile grocery Farm Truck Foods might increase fresh-produce availability in Pittsburgh, where 47% of the population lacks access to supermarkets and 71% of the population is low income, according to a 2012 Treasury Department report. The project is still in the planning phase, but the team hopes to begin operation in the spring.
