Technological advances such as smartphones and tablets are increasingly helping hoteliers manage property data such as occupancy, average daily rate and revenue per available room remotely. "Remote access allows people to work smarter and really being able to focus on the highest priority items more timely. It also allows for greater efficiency as the easy things can be done quickly. It allows for more flexibility and greater job satisfaction,” Denihan Hospitality Group Vice President Susan Weigel said.
