Tenn. lawmakers press for time-out on the common core

A coalition of Tennessee lawmakers is seeking to delay or eliminate the implementation of the Common Core State Standards. Those looking to reverse course say the state should pause to fully consider the cost of common core testing and additional issues. Others, however, say the state should remain on course and students will rise to the challenge.
