Caldeira: NLRB ruling has "broader implications" in business

The National Labor Relations Board ruled recently that franchisors are jointly responsible for the employment of workers at franchise locations, impacting the equity of franchisees in their businesses and effectively making them middlemen between the corporation and consumers, said IFA President and CEO Steve Caldeira. The ruling has "broader implications beyond the franchise industry that could be devastating for businesses, which stifle job creation and small business entrepreneurship," he said.
