Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley, are working on technology to have displays automatically adjust themselves for users with far-sightedness or near-sightedness, reducing the need for contact lenses or eyeglasses. The technology could be utilized in e-readers, tablet computers, televisions and other electronics with displays, they say.
