Delayed decisions help break world trade logjam

A new World Trade Organization agreement may not be finalized by the end of the year as planned, but participants in talks geared toward that goal say a breakthrough reached early Sunday morning is enough to keep the Doha round on track. Negotiators reached a deal to eventually drop all export subsidies on agricultural products and slash duties on imports, while still protecting certain sensitive agricultural products.
