Caribbean hotels struggle for coverage for storm losses

Property insurance problems are reaching crisis levels in Caribbean regions prone to hurricanes, as most resorts and hotels find themselves underinsured to cover damage from storms. However, the Caribbean Hotel Association is trying to do something about it. It plans to create essentially a buyer group in which independent hotels in the region can have enough coverage to recoup losses from storms.
