Commentary: Efforts to find low-cost drugs come at a high cost

One health care provider's efforts to help patients in need find cheaper or free prescription drugs come at a high cost to the practice. The effort is so time consuming that it could easily represent a full-time job for a staff member, and at times, the author thinks of his practice as a charity or social-service agency when his books are balanced.
