NASCAR creates news service

NASCAR, the No. 2-rated regular-season sport on TV, is creating its own media network because it is "undercovered in the media," CEO Brian France said. The new division will generate content for newspapers, radio, TV stations and cable networks and will "educate editors, producers and reporters on the sport," France said.
