Northwest proposes pilot incentives

Northwest Airlines has come to the bargaining table in hopes of ending the staffing troubles that have forced hundreds of flight cancellations. The carrier and the pilots' union tentatively agreed on incentives that will reward pilots flying more than 80 hours per month, those with perfect attendance and those who help train new employees.
