AVMA Convention highlights advances in veterinary medicine

The 2010 AVMA Convention brings together more than 9,000 veterinary experts to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta to discuss recent developments in the profession, including in the areas of animal welfare, food safety and stem cell therapy. The event, which runs through Tuesday, also will tackle topics such as rabies in post-earthquake Haiti, pet hospice and dog bite prevention.
