Congress may help launch Obama's privatized space travel plan

As Congress prepares to head into its summer recess, it's becoming clear that President Barack Obama likely won't get the entire $812 million that he has proposed to begin a $6 billion commercial spacecraft program to transport astronauts into space. However, the Senate, and to a lesser extent the House, have shown signs of approving enough in the $19 billion NASA budget to start making moves in the direction of privatized space travel.
