EPA cites progress in Mich. spill-cleanup operations

Cleanup efforts at an oil-spill site in Michigan are having a positive effect, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. The flow from Enbridge's leaking pipe has been halted and contained in the Kalamazoo River, the agency said. "Now it's a matter of recovery and removal of the remainder of the sheen and small patches of oil that remain on the Kalamazoo River," said EPA deputy incident commander Mark Durno.
