Family goes to great lengths to prevent stomach cancer

The Walsh family of Franklin, Mass., is going to great lengths to fight Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer syndrome, a rare genetic mutation that significantly increases the risk of getting stomach cancer. Several family members have developed cancer, some have had their stomachs removed to prevent it and others will undergo testing as they age to see if they also will need to have the drastic procedure.
