Family of patients with autism display vision abnormality

Family members of individuals with autism tend to display abnormalities in eye movement compared with those who are not close relatives of people with autism, a U.S. study found. The finding supports earlier research "that suggests the problems in autism are much more the results of genetic than environmental factors," the lead author said.
