Thousands of dangerous dogs at London animal charity are euthanized

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, an animal charity in London, euthanized 2,815 dogs last year that were otherwise healthy, but were deemed too dangerous to be given up for adoption. The move reportedly was intended to end the practice of rearing aggressive dogs as "status symbols."
