A New Jersey school district will issue iPad 2 devices to eighth-grade students enrolled in honors algebra beginning this year. Students will use the leased devices to access HMH Fuse, an algebra-based textbook. Educators say the iPads allow students to interact with math by seeing, hearing and feeling the problems. "It keeps the students, from the very first second, engaged in the entire lesson," said teacher Joseph Mastropietro.
