Study: FTTH rates often exceed advertised capacity rates

The Federal Communications Commission has completed a sweeping study of broadband capacity in the U.S. and found that service providers mostly provide access at the speeds they advertise. Verizon Communications came out on top among providers of fiber-to-the-home, which fared the best among delivery technologies in the study, exceeding advertised capacity rates, on average.
