Aid shortage affects relief efforts for Syria

Data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs show a shortfall in humanitarian aid for Syria, with programs inside and outside the country being affected, writes John Alliage Morales. Donors apparently are slow to release funds, as they are waiting for a "political option to resolve the crisis," he writes.
