Bill calls for $100 million to add more U.S. trauma centers

U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill., introduced a bill calling for $100 million in hospital funding to improve and create more trauma centers and emergency care networks. Rush, whose son died of a gunshot wound before he could be transported to a trauma center, said the lack of trauma centers affects both rural and urban communities.
