Clear Channel to pitch iHeartRadio as part of multiplatform package

Advertising is not much in evidence yet on Clear Channel's iHeartRadio, but CEO Bob Pittman says that will change, noting that the platform is envisioned more as a component of an overall pitch to advertisers. "We are trying to go into multiplatform offerings so that when we talk to advertisers, we're increasingly not talking about a bunch of spots -- we're talking about helping them achieve a goal. Clearly digital plays a role in that," Pittman said.
