Green investor presses Kellogg CEO on palm oil partnership

Kellogg Co. chief John Bryant was grilled Thursday by a green-investment shareholder about his company's ties to Wilmar International, a firm accused of involvement in the destruction of rain forests. "We take the whole area of sustainability of palm oil very seriously. We buy sustainably sourced palm oil, and where it's not available we buy the green certificates to cover it," Bryant countered.
