Ind. district seeks to balance nutrition, taste

School nutrition professionals and others in an Indiana district say they recognize the importance of ensuring students eat nutritious meals. To learn more about the foods that are appealing to students, nutrition professionals have a rotating meal plan, track sales data and rely on advice from student advisory groups. The goal, they say, is to transition from a heat-and-serve cafeteria model.
