LinkedIn CEO says API for social ads is "high priority"

LinkedIn is planning to build an API that will let brands and agencies use the network more easily to run social ad campaigns, CEO Jeff Weiner said in a call with analysts. "Introducing a robust set of APIs for social marketing agencies to best leverage the platform is a high priority," Weiner said. "We're not pre-announcing a date but it's high on our list."
