NYC spa sells bird-dung facials

Customers are lining up to pay $180 each to have Asian nightingale droppings spread on their faces at Manhattan's Shizuka New York skin care salon, the latest outpost for Asian bird dung treatment. The traditional Japanese therapy is said to smooth skin. "That's why Japanese grandmothers have beautiful complexions," says Duke Klauck, owner of the Ten Thousand Waves health spa in Santa Fe, N.M., where customers can get their own "Nightingale Facial" for $129.
