Reptile group responds to rescue need after enactment of Ohio exotics law

The Herps Alive! Foundation is planning a brick-and-mortar rescue facility in Northeast Ohio after the state's exotic animal law deepened the need for such a resource. The law requires exotic pet owners to obtain ownership permits, but many release their animals instead, according to founder and herpetologist Keith Gisser.
