Grocers are flocking to Los Angeles' reinvigorated downtown to cash in on a young, health-conscious population looking for specialty products and on-the-go meals. "There's a snowball effect -- people who are looking in the area to open a grocery business start feeling an anxiousness to get in there and open quickly when they see others," Urban Radish co-owner Carolyn Paxton said.
