W.Va. Democrats express concern over future EPA coal regulations

West Virginia Democrats are raising concerns over the Environmental Protection Agency's future coal rules. "We asked and made it clear that the way to implement additional regulations on coal had to be in a reasonable manner and take into account our state and our jobs and our families," said Larry Puccio, the West Virginia Democratic executive committee chairman. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., led a delegation of lawmakers and other Democratic leaders from West Virginia that met with EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy on Thursday to discuss their concerns.
