Frito-Lay settles Chicago dispute

Frito-Lay has agreed not to run competing ads against Chicago-based competitor Jay's for two years, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune about the confidential settlement between the two snack companies. The agreement stems from a lawsuit spurred by Frito-Lay ads claiming Chicagoans prefer the taste of Lay's chips over Jay's.
