New boom pump offers team maneuverability, longer reach

Builders of a $100-million project in Atlanta, Ga. used a new, lighter boom pump to maneuver around obstacles when constructing the Plaza Midtown 550,000-square-foot "mixed-use" development. The finished site will contain 452 condominium units within two 20-story towers and 70,000-square-feet of street-level retail and dining space, anchored by a Publix grocery store.
