Apple, Scandinavia face off over iPod restrictions

Scandinavian regulators are challenging Apple Computer's digital download model that restricts iTunes-purchased songs to Apple's iPod. Norway, Denmark and Sweden claim this model violates their contract and copyright laws. Apple is standing firm behind its policy, saying consumers "have the freedom of choice and the mechanism does not violate competition laws."
