Jobless rate in July hits four-year high

Job losses in the U.S. jumped again in July, with the losses spreading beyond the construction and manufacturing sectors, which have had a long stretch of job losses. The Labor Department reports the jobless rate increased from 5.5% in June to 5.7% in July, the highest rate in four years.
