Apache sees potential in Canada's Horn River Basin

Apache said recent drilling in the Horn River Basin Shale in northeast British Columbia bolstered earlier findings that the area contains 10 billion cubic feet of ultimate gas recovery. Apache and affiliate EnCana have drilled 28 wells and begun production at 10. The firms have a "tremendous resource at Horn River that will be developed over many years," an Apache executive said.
