Chesapeake Energy to increase shale gas output at Haynesville site

Chesapeake Energy aims to ramp up shale gas production at its Haynesville site in Louisiana by operating an average of 33 rigs the rest of the year and increasing to 36 rigs in 2010. Chesapeake said it expects gross output of 575 million cubic feet of gas per day by the end of the year and up to 1.025 billion cubic feet per day at the end of 2010.
