"Many more months" needed to dig out of recession, Obama says

Speaking after the latest GDP figures showed that the U.S. economy suffered relatively minimal decline in the second quarter, President Barack Obama warned that the recession isn't over and it won't end soon. "It will take many more months to fully dig ourselves out of a recession -- a recession that we've now learned was even deeper than anyone thought," he said.
