Schumer calls on FAA to tackle NYC airline delays

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., is urging the Federal Aviation Administration to invest in technology and add air traffic controllers at the three major airports near New York. Schumer released a report earlier this week that shows that the New York-area airports are the worst in terms of on-time arrivals. "What makes this particularly galling is that the situation with delays [is] getting better in the rest of the country," Schumer said.
