Still no deal between PepsiCo and its bottlers

A stalemate between PepsiCo and its bottlers over the soft-drink company's $6 billion bid to buy the remaining shares of its bottling groups threatens to harm both bottlers and the company. As the bottlers hold out for a higher price, sales continue to fall in PepsiCo's Americas beverage business, and 73% of Pepsi Bottling's U.S. revenue comes from its soda sales, making the odds of a lasting recovery questionable.
