Alabama gambling task force's days could be numbered

John Tyson, the commander of an Alabama task force on gambling, returned to court Monday to seek permission to raid Victoryland electronic bingo casino. But the state's casinos could reopen once Gov. Bob Riley leaves office Jan. 17. Both gubernatorial candidates, Democrat Ron Sparks and Republican Robert Bentley, have said they plan to dismantle the task force.
